I was having a hard time to find nparticles on autodesk maya. I googled it but with no luck. however, I managed to figure it out. so i want to share it. it is very simple,  on the left hand corner menu set menu, just switch it to FX.

 This video shows how easy it is to remove background from picture in Photoshop by using MAGIC WAND TOOL. just select the area you wish to remove and click delete on your keyboard or right click with the mouse and delete.
